Family

It's all they've ever known, all they've ever been.

Brothers. Winchesters.

All that ever mattered. All there's ever been.

Brothers. Winchesters. Family.

It means everything and nothing. It defines them and it destroys them. It's their strength, their weakness, their pride, their pain.

Because family is beyond reason. It's giving up everything, getting nothing back. It's love and hate and even more, because there are no words for it. There's just nothing for it. Just flesh of my flesh, bone of my bone, and you're my brother and I'd die for you and this time they both know it's true.
