Title: God Bless Us Everyone
Disclaimer: I do not own Primeval.
A/N: Next in the Kept drabble series. And finally, some movement in the plot :)
Summary: It was Stephen’s idea.
-o-
It was Stephen’s idea.
Someone found the text on the database. A Christmas Carol, by Charles Dickens. It was a classic. Something to get them in the spirit; to remind them what was worth fighting for. What was worth living for.
Everyone was at hand for the reading, except the two guards at security. Stephen stopped by with a vintage deck of cards and wished them the best.
When he ended up outside the locked room, he glanced around. Just as planned, he was alone.
“I don’t need God to bless everyone,” Stephen muttered, looking at the lock. “Just this.”
