A/N: I'm still a little behind on review replies, but I'm getting there :) It's just been sort of a crazy weekend. Anyway, this is the last chapter. Endings are never my forte, so I hope it doesn't disappoint. Thank again to my betas, [livejournal.com profile] geminigrl11  and [livejournal.com profile] moogsthewriter , for their support, and to everyone who has read and reviewed. It's been fun!  Previous parts here.

It felt like someone had stuck a claw down his throat and wiggled it around. )

A/N: And the resolution begins :) Thank you!  Previous parts here.

It came back in flashes. )

faye_dartmouth: (danny thoughtful)

A/N: This is a bit on the short side, but it has some key turning points, so hopefully you'll forgive that. After this, just two chapters to go :) Thanks!  Previous parts are here.

Blaine pulled the trigger. )

faye_dartmouth: (steve)

A/N: And now, plot! Action! Hopefully the plot points make sense and that the action seems worth the wait :) Thanks!  Previous parts here.

Steve had been on enough dangerous missions in his life to know that sometimes things went wrong. )

faye_dartmouth: (danny ready)

A/N: I promise, things are moving steadily toward a climax now, and you can expect some significant action on Steve's part in the coming chapters :) Also, there's a good chance that some of the background I came up with off the cuff for Danny's family will be debunked (possibly tonight!) but it's what I came up with while writing this. Thanks!  Previous parts are here.

Danny was used to waking up to strange things. )
faye_dartmouth: (danny and steve work together)

A/N: And now, back to Steve's POV to see how he's handling this change in the game. Thanks :)  Previous parts here.

Sometimes bad things happened. )

faye_dartmouth: (danny gun bw)

A/N: And now the action picks up a bit :) Happy reading!  Previous parts are here.

Danny had never actually been in a hostage situation before. )

faye_dartmouth: (danny and steve work together)

A/N: As always, I appreciate all readers and reviews. This is starting to build to the climax, but it's not quite there yet :) Thank you!  Previous parts are here.

Danny had a knack for being annoying. )

faye_dartmouth: (danny steve partners)

A/N: Those who have reviewed - you're awesome :) And you truly make my day!  Previous parts are here.

Steve didn't pass out. )

faye_dartmouth: (danny and steve work together)
A/N: Continued thanks to all who have reviewed and read :)

Previous parts here.

This was all Steve's fault )

faye_dartmouth: (danny ready)

A/N: Thank you so much for the response to part one! And here begins the heart of the plot, which is never what I feel best about writing, but you can't have a fic of this length without something tying it together so hopefully it works :)

Previous parts here.

Steve always knew where he was. )

Title: The Eleventh Hour

Disclaimer: Not mine.

A/N: I don't know why my muse insists on me writing longer fics, but it did, and so here's my first H50 chapter fic. This will have 13 parts, I believe and I should be posting on a regular schedule. Much thanks to [livejournal.com profile] geminigrl11  for providing a beta and consistent encouragement and squee. As for my other beta, [livejournal.com profile] moogsthewriter , let me just say that almost anything I write these days is ENTIRELY her fault. I mean that in the best way possible of course because if she makes me insane, she also makes me smile :) Any remaining mistakes are entirely my own.

A/N: This first chapter is a bit on the short side, but the action starts quickly from here on out. I promise :) Also, general note, title was snagged from the song "The Eleventh Hour" by Jars of Clay, which was going through my head while I wrote the majority of this.

Summary: This was all Steve's fault. The entire case had been Steve's idea, after all. And now, here they were. Handcuffed to chairs, back to back, in a deserted warehouse, in the Middle of Nowhere, Hawaii, with two idiots holding guns threatening them.

It was a normal day. )
