Title: The Deconstruction of Sam Winchester

Disclaimer: Not mine.

A/N: I wrote this a long time ago--during S4, as best I can tell. It's completely and totally AU and was entirely speculative at the time, but since it's not doing anything on my computer, I'm posting it. [livejournal.com profile] sendintheklowns was kind enough to read it over for me. Remaining mistakes and wild AU-ness is entirely my own.

Warning: Character death.

Summary: It’s not seeing Dean go to hell that makes Sam realize it’s over.

No, those were terrible times. )

Title: All Creatures of Our God and King

Disclaimer: Not mine.

Warnings: Some religious content to come, borrowing heavily on Christian ideas as they relate to the show (though it is good to note that I wouldn't say this is straight up Christian belief, nor do I actually endorse it as a real world interpretation). It’s the show that brought God and angels into the mix, not me :) I’m just giving them a different depth.  Also, I forgot to mention that there is major character death going on in this one.  It's not a particularly happy story.

A/N: This fic is...different. I couldn’t exactly tell you where it came from but here it is. I also tackled this fic as part of my Pay It Forward for

[livejournal.com profile] moogsthewriter .

Hopefully it’s not too out there! Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] sendintheklowns for hand holding and [livejournal.com profile] geminigrl11 for the beta. This has spoilers for everything up through S4 and some future stuff that is likely to be AU in about a day. I'll be posting the last chapter of Between the Lines and then my pre S5 posting binge will be complete :)

Summary: It’s not the fall that kills you. It’s the sudden stop at the end.

In the beginning, God made the heavens and the light. )

A/N: I'm a little behind on replies, but that is part of my afternoon project :) I don't really have much else to say, but that I hope you enjoy!  Previous parts here.

Title: There But for the Grace of God

Summary: And, just for a moment, watching his brother sleep in a lonely motel room, Dean understands.

A/N: So more pre-S5 stuff. This one is a Dean POV vignette, set right after the events of the finale. I wrote it quite awhile ago but just now got around to posting. The usual crew needs to be thanks: [livejournal.com profile] sendintheklowns and [livejournal.com profile] geminigrl11 because they motivated me, keep me in check, and are generally made of awesome. This will be a busy posting week for me, so I hope you all aren't sick of me yet :)

Disclaimer: Nope. Not mine.

It's nearly two in the morning, and the motel room is hot. )

A/N:  Thank you to such the nice to response to the first part!  Hopefully the rest doesn't disappointed.  All notes and disclaimers in part one.

Title:  Between the Lines of Fear and Blame 1a/4

Summary:  In the hunt for Lucifer, Sam is hurt and Dean has to embark on a quest to find his brother in more ways than one.

A/N:  For some reason, this fic scares me.  But since I wrote it and [livejournal.com profile] geminigrl11 threatened to beat me up if I didn't post it, here goes.  It's a four parter, set post S4.  I wanted to get it out before Kripke shows us his version of it.  Beta'ed by Gem and love given by [livejournal.com profile] sendintheklowns and [livejournal.com profile] altpointofview , who is still alive!

Disclaimer:  Don’t make me laugh, okay?

Title:  The Light That's Burning Up Inside

Summary:  Dean looks at the light and looks at Sam and wants to forget but can only remember.  Post 4.22

A/N:  I started a very angry fic post finale but as my emotions mellowed, I came up with this instead.  Given a beta by [livejournal.com profile] geminigrl11 , who helped the mellowness, and a once over by [livejournal.com profile] sendintheklowns , who is strikingly sane in contrast to me.  Also, Sam is awesome, isn't he?  We've got a fic exchange going on that's in the sign up phase for anyone who happens to agree.  You can check it out at [livejournal.com profile] summer_sam_love

Disclaimer: Not mine.  Though, if they were, I promise Sam would get a lot more hugs.

Title:  All the Good Monsters

Summary:  Sam always believed everything Dean said.  Tag to WTLB.

A/N:  So.  Yeah.  Here's the thing.  My name is Faye, and, well, I'm a Sam girl.  But here's the other thing, I'm not looking for some kind of twelve step program here, because, well I like it.  I'm not going to apologize for how I think and feel.  I know fandom can be a pretty scary place right now.  That said, when I can separate myself from fandom, I really liked this ep.  When I'm weigh down in it, this ep gives me a headache.  This fic is an expression of both.  Oh, and for those who might not have guessed: it's about Sam, but no, it's not about how terrible and mean he is.  If that's what you're looking for, let me tell you, this ain't it.  I don't think it's anti-Dean either or whatever, but I wasn't really trying to get into Dean's head.  I was trying to get into Sam's, and it's a sad place right now.

A/N 2:  Tyranusfan gave this a read and provided a lovely beta in near-record time.

Title:  That's What Family is For

Summary:  Dean and Sam reflect on their changing understanding of family.  Tag to Jump the Shark.

A/N:  So there are fifty billion of these tags out there, but I had it in my mind to write the h/c tag this ep so begged for.  Sadly, the boys are good at hurting but not so good at comfort.  That said, I tried to be honest with this fic in regards to both boys.  They're both in horrible places right now, and I think their relationship is dangerously strained.  Moreover, I don't hold either one "responsible."  They each have their role to play in this, and it was my hope in this fic to give each brother equal grounding.  I have a feeling that who you sympathize more in the fic will relate highly to who you prefer overall in the show.  I also feel like I'm rather harsh here--but, these two are rather harsh on each other, so I make no apologies and I stand by this in all its hurt and its very marginal comfort.  My purpose was to both deal with Sam's injuries while also dealing with the shift in Dean's emotions from when he first rescues Sam to the funeral for Adam.

A/N 2:  Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] geminigrl11  for the beta (twice!).  Also, this goes out to [livejournal.com profile] sendintheklowns , who I think could use a pick me up this week :)

Disclaimer:  Really, totally not mine.

Title:  Don’t Be There

Summary:  It ends in a warehouse in southern Louisville.

A/N:  I wrote this in one sitting and it was beta’ed by [livejournal.com profile] geminigrl11  twice after that within a 12 hour period.  I think this comes from my general disappointment with the season and my frustration with the show (and so much fic) always making Sam wrong and needing to be saved in the end, and I just wanted to give him the best shot at redemption I could.  The ending COULD be interpreted as very, very, VERY sad, or you can choose to envision a more hopeful option.  My intent was to make this a standalone so I could finish it, but in my mind, there is truly a lot more to come after this :)  There are vague spoilers for most of S4.

Disclaimer:  Not mine.

faye_dartmouth: (needs a hug)
A/N:  I'm glad part one resonated with as many readers as it seemed to.  One of the joys of fandom is connecting with other fans who can share and consider your point of view.  Bear in mind that I don't see either boy as perfect and that I think they're both trying hard in their own ways, but the fact is, they're pretty much too deep in their own issues to really know how to grasp one another.  Also this fits in canon, so don't expect a happy ending.

faye_dartmouth: (after school limp)
A/N:  Please review the notes on part one.  They apply even more strongly here.  Also, my betas?  Are amazing.  If you had seen this fic when it was first finished, you would agree :)
